Annie attended school in Herberton (records were destroyed in a fire), she did one year at the Biggenden Mine School Lizzie and Heinrich had two girls and four boys, Henry, Edna, Gordon, Alma, Norman and Clarence. Like her mother, Lizzie was diabetic, (So was her Aunt Marie Weaver). Lizzie became very ill and was bedridden. Her husband had a young girl come in to help with the household and family. Lizzie died in 1930; she was thirty-six years old and is buried in Coalstoun Lakes. OBITUARY ...[Maryborough Chronicle dated Friday, February 28, 1930] Following a painful and lingering illness extending over a long period, Mrs Annie E. Radel, wife of Mr H. W. Radel, of Wilson Valley, Gooroolba, passed away at the Biggenden Hospital on Sunday, February 16. The late Mrs Radel, who was in her 37th year, recently underwent a serious operation in the Brisbane General Hospital and since returning had been treated in the Biggenden Hospital. A family of six children survive, the oldest being 16 years and the youngest 11 months. One of the children, aged three years, has been an inmate of the Biggenden Hospital for a considerable time, having a broken thigh.The interment took place in the Coalstoun Lakes cemetery on Monday, the last sad rites at the graveside being performed by Rev.
