Mary Giles was born on January 1, 1770, in Amelia County, Virginia, the child of William Giles and Mary Mattox (?) Mary married John William Prince in 1798 in Giles, Virginia. They had 13 children in 26 years.
In 1830 Mary was living as Head of house in Montgomery, Kentucky,.[1], so her husband had probably died before this date.
In 1860 she was 90 and living with son Thomas and his family in Lawrence, Kentucky. [2]
Mary (Giles) Prince died in 1862 in Lawrence County, Kentucky [3]
