Biography
Ellen Giles was born on March 22, 1839, in Leeds, Yorkshire. She is the daughter of the Reverend John Eustace Giles, Baptist Minister, & Anne Leese.
Ellen married Henry Robert Pigott in 1862 in London.
Ellen and Henry went to Ceylon as missionaries soon after their marriage. They retired to N.S.W. in 1890.
