Mary Ann Giles was born in about 1833, in Reading, Berkshire, the daughter of Robert Giles and Mary Rand. She was baptised on 5 May 1833 in St Mary's Church, Reading. This was on the same day as Lydia Sarah and it's possible that they were twins.
Mary Ann has not been found in any other record, so it is assumed that she probably died soon after birth, and certainly before 1841.
