Biography

Maria Magdalena was born in Cradock, Cape Colony; she was the daughter of Adam Fleetwood Gilfillan and Magaretha Johanna (Schoeman) Gilfillan.

Maria was a Nurse; she never married. She was 65 years old when she passed away in the Bloemfontein Hospital in the Orange Free State on 23 July 1939.^[1][2]
