You have INCORRECT INFORMATION: Matilda Frances (Jeffries) Gill was NOT married to Coleman H Gill. Was NOT a 2nd wife to Coleman H Gill. Matilda was actually married to "William Coleman F. Gill" (1813-1897) a totally different person, a totally different family tree. Matilda and "William" Coleman Gill were married in Virginia on April 18, 1838.

I did not add Matilda Frances (Jeffries) Gill as a wife to Coleman H Gill. This is the "wrong" Coleman Gill genealogy for Matilda. Maltila is NOT a spouse of Coleman H Gill. The "Gill" Matilda was married to was "William Coleman F. Gill" who was born 1813 in Virginia and died in 1897. (NOT Coleman H Gill). This is a different family line altogether. Matilda Francis (Jeffries) Gill and William Coleman F Gill are not connected to Coleman H Gill, This is a totally different family NOT connected to my Coleman Gill.

And YES I do have an interest. This is my Husband's family (now also my daughter's) tree, as given to me by my mother-in-law, Elizabeth Victoria (Gill) Curtis.

I see how this was confusing to you, You've got the wrong people. I hope this clears things up for you. Diana

Diana, I'm working on a Gill line and came across Coleman Gill. I've found 3 marriage records and now I'm confused. How can he be married in 1838, when children's birth dates are after that.
