CENSUS INFORMATION: In the 1841 UK Census, he is listed as Francis Gill, aged 13 and born in county. He is living with his mother (Ann) and a sister (Ann), with Humphrey Hicks, in Skinner's Bottopm, St Agnes. (HO107/149/3, Folio 45, Page 13).
In the 1851 UK Census, he is listed as Francis Gill, a copper miner aged 20 and born in St Agnes. He is living with his widowed sister and her 2 sons, in Skinners Bottom, Mount Hawke, St Agnes. (HO107/1909, Folio 496, Page 10).
In the 1861 UK Census, he is listed as Francis Gill, a Tin Miner aged 34 and born in St Agnes, Cornwall. He is living with his wife, 3 sons, and his widowed mother, (Nancy Gill, aged 64) in Skinner's Bottom, Mount Hawke, St Agnes. (RG9/1554, Folio 28, Page 6).

MARRIAGE: Marriage is recorded in the GRO indexes for the Truro Registration District in the September quarter of 1854 under reference 5c 320. The couple are listed as Francis Gill and Mary Ann Grigg.
