Biography

David O. Gilland was son of Thomas and Elizabeth Gilland. He was born 1845 in Nova Scotia.

He was a widower when he married Barbara Mary "Sonfern," daughter of Thomas and Anna Barth.

Obituary of Donatus Barth, 1905, states that his daughter Barbara was then Mrs. Barbara Gillent and residing in Washington State.

He was a resident of Hartford, Snohomish, Washington in 1919. He died in Monroe. He was buried in the Stretch Cemetery. Son of Thomas and Elizabeth Gilland.[1]

He died of pernicious anemia.[2]
