He emigrated to New Zealand with family on the Bombay in 1865. [2]

In 1874 he married Mary Coxhead.[3]

They had separated before 1900.[4]

In about 1916 William and Mary formally divorced. [5]

In 1917 he married Rachel Esther Babb.[6]

He passed away 21 Feb 1926 aged 75Y, at his residence, Rosebank Rd, Avondale. [7] [8] [9]
