Obie Gelespie was enumerated as son of the head of household at Logansport and Nacogdoches Road, Justice Precinct 8, Shelby County, Texas for the January 12, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born October 1919 in Texas and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Ob Gelespie, wife Lou Gelespie, brother Philip Gelespie and brother Clemet Gelespie.^[1]
