Malinda F Gillespie was enumerated at District No. 32, Franklin County, Georgia for the October 18, United States Census, 1850. She was noted as born 1835 in Georgia as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male James L Gillespie, female Elizabeth Gillespie, male Asbury Gillespie, female Frances P Gillespie, female Mary P Gillespie, male Graves B Gillespie, female Elizabeth A Gillespie, female Nancy Ann Gillespie, female (male) Veonye [George] Gillespie, male James M Gillespie and male John M Gillespie.[1]

Malinda P Gillespie was enumerated at Post Office Carnesville, Franklin County, Georgia for the June 26, United States Census, 1860. She was noted as born 1838 in Georgia as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are male James L Gillespie, female Elizabeth Gillespie, female Nancy C Gillespie, male George P Gillespie, male James M Gillespie and male Rudolph S Gillespie.[2]

Malinda P. Gillispie wed David Wacaster November 15, 1860 in Franklin County, Georgia as seen in an image of the original marriage register.[3]

Malinda P. Wancaster wed William F. Bush May 26, 1870 in Franklin County, Georgia as seen in an image of the original marriage register.[4]

She was noted as keeping house and born 1834-1835 in Georgia. She had $800 in value of real estate and $350 in value of personal assets as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are male Freeman Bush, male Johnson Bush, female Martha Bush, female Martha Wacaser, male James D Wacaser and female Nancy J Wacaser.[5]

Malinda Bush was enumerated as wife at District 812, Franklin County, Georgia for the June 15, United States Census, 1880. She was noted as keeping house, born 1836 in Georgia and married as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are self Freeman Bush, son James J Bush, stepdaughter Annea Bush, daughter Martha Bush, stepdaughter Nancy Bush, daughter Ora Bush, son George Bush and son Robert Bush.[6]

Malinda Gillispie was listed as the mother of George Freeman Bush who died February 20, 1941 in Columbia, Randolph County, North Carolina. The father was listed as Freeman Bush and the wife Anna Bush.[7]

As listed in the Find A Grave Index,[8] Malinda Pickens Gillespie Wacaster Bush is buried at Indian Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Franklin County, Georgia.[9]
