Biography

Sarah Virginia "Sadie" Gillespie was born circa July 22, 1896, in Blackfork, Ohio, to Elizabeth Rebecca Jaynes and Yangee Clindinen "Clennie" Gillespie.^[1][2][3]

On March 22, 1919, in Lawrence County, Ohio, Sadie married Lewis Clair Foster.^[2] This couple had at least 3 children.^[4]

Sadie died from "acute dilation of heart" on August 19, 1930, in Oak Hill, Ohio. At the time of her death, she was 8 months pregnant.^[3]
