Isabel is the daughter of Jeremiah and Catherine (Gillespie) Thwaite(s). Her father was born in England, her mother in Pennsylvania. She married Peter Vail on 25 Dec 1851 at Shelby County, Ohio.[1] Among their children are:

Gillespie-374 and Thwaite-45 appear to represent the same person because: Same person - found parents - mother was Catherine Gillespie - Isabel is listed as Isabel G on her marriage record. Gillespie was her middle name.

Added her parents and siblings.
