Biography

Wain Gillespie was enumerated as son of the head of household at Gainesville and Carnesville Road, Dooley, Franklin County, Georgia for the April 28, United States Census, 1910. He was noted as born 1905 in Georgia and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head A W Gillespie, wife Susie E Gillespie, son Erastus F Gillespie, son Luther C Gillespie, daughter Alice M Gillespie, daughter Emma B Gillespie, son Lay B Gillespie and son Jasel I Gillespie.^[1]

Wayne W Gillespie died November 30, 1968 in Fulton County, Georgia.^[2]

Wayne Watson Gillespie is buried at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery in Carnesville, Franklin County, Georgia.^[3]
