Biography

Thomas was born in 1890. He is the son of John Gillespie and Nancy Boling.

Thomas Gillespie was enumerated as son of the head of household in Precinct 16 Morris town, Jefferson County, Alabama for the June 8, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as at school, born October 1890 in Alabama and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head John C Gillespie, wife Ellen Gillespie, daughter Martha Gillespie, daughter Nettie Gillespie, son Virgil Gillespie, daughter Mertie Gillespie and servant William Hill.[1]
