Biography
Peter was born in 1856, the son of John Gillespie (abt.1820-1895) and Jane Anderson (1823-1867). [1] F=John, M=Jane Anderson, Place=Elphinston.
In 1880 he married Arabella Hall (1856-1926). [2]
They had at least 1 child:—
- John Lambert (1881-1948).
Peter passed away in 1914, aged 57. [3] F=John, M=Jane Anderson, Place=Kingower.

- GILLESPIE.—At "Glenalbyn Grange," Kingower, Peter Gillespie, of Glenalbyn, Burke road, Camberwell, aged 57 years. Funeral leaves "Glenalbyn Grange" for Kingower Cemetery, This Day (Wednesday) at three o'clock.
He was buried in the Kingower Cemetery. [5] [6] Arabella joined him in 1926.
