He married at Windsor 30 June 1692, Rebecca Owen, daughter of John Owen and Rebecca Wade. Henry R. Stiles states that the Nathan Gilet married Rebeckah Owen first and a Hannah Buckland as his second wife but this is an error. Hannah Buckland was married to a Nathan Gilet but he was born 6 Feb 1680 and was an uncle to Nathan Gilet

He married at Windsor, Con., June 30th, 1692 Rebecca, daughter of John and Rebecca (Wade) Owen at Windsor, Conn., March 28th, 1666. She died at Simsbury in 1704, and he died there, January 30th 1757.
