Biography

Isaac Newton Gillett was born on 27 September 1784 in New Marlborough, Berkshire, Massachusetts, United States, son of Nathaniel Gillett (1758–1813) and Sibbel Calkin (1762–1834).[1][2]

Isaac and Sally (Selleck) Gillett were married. Sally was born in 1789 in Vermont, United States. She was the daughter of Benjamin Selleck and Jemmiah (Hickok) Selleck. Their children were:

  1. Isaac Newton Gillett (~1811–~1909)
  2. Chancey Hickok Gillett (~1813–~1890)
  3. Prosper J. Gillett (~1817–~1902)
  4. Sarah (Gillett) Kelsey (1823–1888)

Isaac died on 28 November 1829 in Port Bay, Huron, Wayne, New York, United States, aged 45.[1]
