Biography
Ashbel was the son of Abel & Abigail (Ensign) Gillet
5 Jan 1755 - Ashbel, 10th child of Abel Gillett, baptized in Wintonbury Church (Bloomfield, CT)[1]
He married Achsah Francis in CT - parents of Abigail, Sarah & Francis
Ashbel died at age 60 and is buried at Old Wintonbury Cem, Bloomfield, Hartford, CT (his Findagrave memorial spelled his last name Gillet)
