Biography

John Gillett was born 06 August 1673 in Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut Colony, to parents John Gillett Mercy Barber.^[1]

He married "Sarah Tryon, d[aughter] of William, Apr[il] 4, 1697 by Rev. Mr. Smith" and "Sarah Tryon, d[aughter] of William, Apr[il] 7, 1697 by Rev. Sstephen Mix."^[2] An interesting puzzle is why two marriages three days apart by different ministers.

He died 04 July 1699 in Windsor.^[3]
