She married Rev. Elias Harmon on Jan. 9, 1800 at Fort Ann, New York. They became the parents of 11 children; Cynthia, Elijah, Asenath, Eleazer, John Fitzjerrole, Melinda, Levi, Elizabeth, Climena, Calphurnia and Elias.[1]
Ruth Harmon died on Sep. 8, 1830 in East Aurora, New York. She is buried at East Aurora Cemetery in East Aurora, New York.
