Biography

Mary is the child of Jonathan Gillette and Mary Kelsey. Mary was born 21 Oct 1667. Mary had an older sister also named Mary who was born in 1665 but died as an infant.[3]

Mary first married Jacob Bissell about 1688, as their first child was born in 1689. [4]Jacob died in 1694.

Mary then married Peter Buell in Simsbury, Connecticut on 30 June 1699.[5][6] or on 30 Jun 1699.[7]

Mary's children with Peter Buell include Miriam Buell Stevens born 1698; William Buell, born 1701; Jonathan Buell, born 1703; and Esther Buell Holcomb, born 1705.[8]

Mary died 19 Aug 1734 and was buried in Simsbury.[9][10]
