Biography
Born between 1836 - 1839 in Virginia the son of William Francis Gilley and Mary "Polly" Hewlett. Nicholas married Martha Hunley in 1858 in Rockingham, North Carolina . [1] He was a Confederate Soldier in the Civil War. [2]
Nicholas passed away on 25 Dec 1862 in Culpepper, Virginia . [3]
