Maude was born September 26, 1892 in Savoy, Fannin County, Texas. She was the daughter of George Gilliam and Harriet Holloway. ^[1]

On October 16, 1911 she married M. E. Giddens in Brown County, Texas. ^[2]

She passed away March 30, 1979 in Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas. Maude was laid to rest in Levelland Municipal Cemetery, Levelland, Hockley County, Texas, United States. ^[3]
