Biography

Jane Gillingham was born in about 1810 at Haselbury Plucknett in Somerset ^{[1] [2] [3]}. She was baptised at the parish church there on 18 February 1810 as the daughter of John Gillingham and his wife Jeane, born Jane Swaffield ^[4].

William Dix, a widower, and Jane Gillingham, both of Haselbury Plucknett, were married at the parish church of Haselbury Plucknett on 15 January 1833 ^[1].
