Flora married Donald Hector Macdonald
Donald Hector Macdonald of Murray Harbour Road, married Flora Gillis d/o Malcolm Gillis and Christina Macleod.
At the Manse, on the 8th inst., by the Rev. Thomas Duncan, Mr. Donald McDonald, Lot 57, to Miss Flora Gillis, Orwell. The Islander March 15 1867 pg 2, Google News Archives
Donald Hector died when his horses went through the ice on his way home from Charlottetown. (Flora and Donald shared a common descent through the Nicholson side)
Flora McDonald, age 40, was a widow in 1881 with Alexander, 12; Malcolm, 11; N. James, 6; Flora, 10; E. Christy, 9; A. Christy, 8, E. Donald, age 5. Also in the same household were Margaret Gillis, age 74 and Ann McDonald, age 63, born Scotland.
