Hi David,

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention those profiles need.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up gedcom biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

Thanks David for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz

Because Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches date of profile and avoid abbreviations. Citations & links for sources enable verification of data please add. From wiki ID go to Research to find sources

The US History may be of interest Adding the tag United_States_History will provide updates about the project.

Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus, whether time period or location. Read the goals & tasks of the project join if it fits

Any questions please ask

Hi Cousin! Welcome to WikiTree! I'm supposed to be taking an Internet sabbatical for August (I am SO addicted to WikiTree!), but I couldn't resist popping in to say Hi! We're 5th cousins, 1ce removed (I'm Nancy Killian's 4x-gr-granddaughter, you're her 5x-gr-grandson).

If you'd like to be a manager of Abraham & Nancy's profiles, send a trusted list request & I'll "make it so" (if not this week, then September).

Also, if you haven't heard about it - there's a Killian reunion in September. See this G2G post. We're descendants of George, and AKDHA loves to see us (I was the only one at my first reunion).

Cheers, Liz

Hi David

As you have been a member of WikiTree for about a week now I thought I would check in to see how you are getting on with the site.

Has the New Member How-To  been helpful or left you with any questions?

I am here to help with any problems or queries you may have. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page or send me a private message.  Sometimes links don't work in emails.  If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Welcome! You are now a full member and can add your family to the big tree.

Start with our New Member How-To pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles. Check out Find -> Projects to learn of groups like Project: Mayflower. Also try clicking your surname tags to find other members following those names.

We are so happy to have you here in the WikiTree community. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!
