Her husband Nathaniel Gilman died some time before June 24, 1741 when his will was proven. [1] In his will he leaves items to:
Wife Sarah Gilman, who along with money, land, and property receives his "Negro Man Robin", his "Negro Woman named Phillis", and "the Negro Girl Named Dinah"
Sarah was the daughter of Edward and Sarah (Unknown) Emery
Sarah married first Nathaniel Gilman, then she married as his first wife John Phillips
She is buried at Exeter Cemetery, Exeter, Rockingham, NH
After her death John remarried in Nov 1767
