Biography
In the 1850 census Hillena (age 12) was in Byrd Township, Brown, Ohio, United States.[1] In the 1860 census Helena (age 22) was in Clinton, Illinois, United States.[2] Nellie married Samuel E. Mannon on 30 December 1867 in Warren, Illinois, United States.[3] In the 1870 census Nellie (age 32) was living in Cambria, San Luis Obispo, California, with her husband Samuel and her daughter.[4] In the 1880 census Nellie (age 42), Keeps House, was the wife of S. E. Mannon in La Ballona Township, Los Angeles, California, United States.[5] In the 1900 census Helena (age 62) was the widowed sister of Ulric Gilmer in Pana, Christian, Illinois, United States.[6] In the 1910 census Helena (age 72) was the widowed sister of Oswald M Gilmer in Maitland Ward 1, Holt, Missouri, United States.[7] Helena died on 14 May 1922 and was buried in Lincoln, Lancaster, Nebraska, United States.[8]
