Biography

Robert was born in 1936 as the son of Robert Gilmore. Robert Gilmore died as a result of a car accident in 1941. Bob was adopted by George Brough when George married Bob's mother, Velora (Garland) Brough.

His passions in life were flying airplanes and education. He served for many years as the Guidance Counsellor at Riverside Highschool in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He loved children, animals, theater, and camping at Clear Creek State Park in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.

His grandchildren called him Pap-Pap.

He passed away in 2012 surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren.
