Thomas was born in about 1586 in Caton, near Lancaster, Lancashire, England.
There is a clear record of his marriage at Caton to Dorothy Gibson on February 11 1608/9. [1]
Their son Francis was born in 1611 and christened in Caton in September of that year. [2]
He died in 1628 and was buried at St Paul's Church, Caton, Lancashire on June 3 of that year. [3]
Second Wife
An earlier version of this profile had two wives, Dorothy Gibson and Thomazen Everard. Thomazen appears to be forty years older than Thomas, and a source for his marriage to her cannot be found. Since there is a clear record of his marriage to Dorothy, Thomazen has been deleted as his wife.

There is a hidden marriage from Thomas to Everard-171 (only able to see it from Edit mode). The info on Thomas profile has been changed from being for 'John' to 'Thomas' which could be the reason for the 'hidden' marriage because it is no longer valid. Everard-171 is married to John Gilpin-515 but no sourcing. Please verify if Thomas was ever married to Everard-171 . If he was not, then than marriage should be removed, since it is causing errors in the system. Date of his marriage is the same as the marriage to Dorothy.
