Biography

Thomas was born in about 1586 in Caton, near Lancaster, Lancashire, England.

There is a clear record of his marriage at Caton to Dorothy Gibson on February 11 1608/9. ^[1]

Their son Francis was born in 1611 and christened in Caton in September of that year. ^[2]

He died in 1628 and was buried at St Paul's Church, Caton, Lancashire on June 3 of that year. ^[3]

Second Wife

An earlier version of this profile had two wives, Dorothy Gibson and Thomazen Everard. Thomazen appears to be forty years older than Thomas, and a source for his marriage to her cannot be found. Since there is a clear record of his marriage to Dorothy, Thomazen has been deleted as his wife.
