He was a farmer when he and Catherine appeared on the census of 28 Aug. 1850 at Washington Township, Porter County, Indiana.[2]
Thomas died on 14 March 1883 while on a visit to see their children in Missouri[3] and was buried at Cochrans Grove Cemetery, Windsor, Shelby County, Illinois. His memorial has a photo of his headstone and links to those of family members.[1]
