Biography
According to the Marriage Record of son, Henry Charles Boyers to Annie Keough in 1915, Mary Gilroy was born about 1824 in Ireland, and her spouse was Joseph Boyers also born in Ireland. In the 1861 England Census, they were living in Hull, Yorkshire.[1]
Joseph Boyers arrived in New York City from Liverpool on the Ship Neptune on 6 April 1865. The ship manifest lists him with 5 children: Thomas, John, Henry, Joseph and Mary Ann. There is no mention of his spouse, Mary.
According to the 1870 US Census, Joseph and Mary, and their family, were living in Biddeford, Maine.[2] Her Death Record has not yet been found.
