Joseph was born in 1849.[1] Joseph Gilsdorf was the second Joseph present in the household of Anton Gilsdorf. There is no direct evidence that Catharina is the birth mother. The first Joseph was born in 1845 and remained in the home after Catharina married Christian Limburg. Joseph b.1849 appears in the home of Christian and Catharina Limburg after the marriage.[2] Joseph Limburg is also mentioned in the Will of Christian Limburg as a step-son. He passed away in 1911.[3]
