Biography

Nanny Gilson (listed as Ann in most records, surname also spelled Gillson, Ghilson, etc) was born in 1839 and baptised on 18 November 1839 at Stretton on Fosse, Warwickshire, England. She was the daughter of William Gilson and Sarah Gregory.[1][2]

In the 1841 and 1851 census Nanny/Ann was living at Stretton on Fosse, Warwickshire with her parents and siblings.[3][4]

Thomas Trotman (normally spelled Tropman) and Anne Ghilson (Gilson) married on 22 Jun 1860 at Stretton on Fosse, Warwickshire, England.[5] They had 13 children.

Nanny Tropman died in 1914 at Shipston On Stour, Warwickshire, England.[6]
