1776 Project
Eleazer Gilson Jr. served with 1776 Project Needs Additional Sources during the American Revolution.

Eleazor was born 19 February 1720 in Groton, Massachusetts.[1]

Research Notes

Ancestor # A045305 was assigned by DAR to Eleazer Gilson; however, the record is noted: "Future Applicants Must Prove Correct Service." Comments state: "Service claimed for this ancestor was in Aug thru Oct 1777 whereas he died June 1777."

If the date of death is correct, no proof of service has been found. Subsequent searches find service records in the name Eleazer Gilson, but the service extends beyond his death date.
