Biography

Isaac was born about 1832. He was the son of Alexander F. Gilstrap and Mary Garren. In 1852 Isaac joined a wagon train to Oregon where he met his future wife Amy Elizabeth Syron. They arrived in what would become Polk county, Oregon on 04 Oct 1852. He married Amy on 17 Apr 1853 in Polk county and he passed away in 1856.
