He had ten siblings, namely: Caroline, Matilda, Henry Edward, John Henry, Frederick William, George Ernest, Gertrude Catherine Minnie, Rosie May, Stanley Victor Arthur, and Ivy Olive Isabel. He died on 01 May 1972^[2] in Stanthorpe, Queensland, Australia. When he was 33, he married Enid Amy Thompson,daughter of Joseph Kenton Thompson and Hannah Young Fermor, on 07 May 1932^[3] in Queensland, Australia.
