Biography
Leonardo Giordano is born and baptized on 31 January 1878 in Corleone. He is the son of Vincentio Giordano and Maria Concepta Cascio, and named after his maternal grandfather. His godmother is Concepta Jannazzo, who is unmarried.
A note under his baptismal record says that Leonardo marries in Mazara (in Trapani) on 15 December 1915 with Maria Favela, daughter of Salvatore and Caterina Signorello, from Mazare. Leonardo has an older brother, Angelo, who also marries in that city.
