Andrew married Elizabeth Hill 4 March 1849 in Franklin County, Tennessee.^[1]

In 1850 Andrew Gipson was age 20. He and Elizabeth had an infant daughter, Sarah.^[2]

Andrew was age 35 in 1860. He and Elizabeth, age 30, had children: Sarah A., Allen, John, Johnson, Anne and Minerva J.^[3]
