Biography

Marie was born in 1809, daughter of Simon Giraud and Marie Colomb. She passed away in 1869.

Marie Seraphine GIROD(C11C) was born in August 1809, the daughter of Simon GIROD (C11) and Madeleine COLOMBE. She married Augustin JEANFREAU about 1825<82>. Augustin was born in France in 1792. For many years, Augustin was a Justice of the Peace, which was given on the 1850 Census. They lived in Pointe a la Hache in House 37 in 1850<19>. There were twelve known children: (C11C1) Augustin G. JEANFREAU (1826); (C11C2) Alphonse JEANFREAU (1828); (C11C3) Antoine JEANFREAU (1832); (C11C4) Alexander L. JEANFREAU (1834); Adelina JEANFREAU (1840); (C11C5) Augustine JEANFREAU (1842); (C11C6) Arthur JEANFREAU (1843); (C11C7) Armentine JEANFREAU (1844); (C11C8) Armand JEANFREAU (1849); and (C11C9) Amedee JEANFREA (1851).
