Numa Joseph Giroir, son of Octave Giroir and Virginia Braud, was born on 2 July 1876. He and his twin, Leon Joseph, were baptized the next day in Assumption Parish, Louisiana, USA.[1]

One of the twins died on 21 November 1876 at about four months of age, but it hasn't been determined which one it was.[2]
