DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ray by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share DNA with Ray:

Hi Ray, thank you for all the contributions you've been making! Just a tip: if you cite FamilySearch.org, you should first check if they in turn cite a more authoritative source (in the lower-left hand corner of their interface) and if they don't, include the full FamilySearch.org URL in your citation so that other people can check it out. Thank you, Ray, for awarding me the Community Star. I am so happy to contribute whatever I can here on WikiTree and one of the wonderful things about it is the constant acknowledgement of Wikitreer's hard work, You, also, deserve such thanks and praise!

Haven't been able to work much on my WikiTree since the beginning of January as have some mobility problems and have just finished Physical Therapy. Feeling better now an can climb the stairs once again to work on my PC.

Sincerely,

Jeannette

Thank you for posting the marriage record for my Great Grandparents. I have the original hand-written document, at least I recall downloading them to my computer at some point - have so many such documents! As it is so time-consuming and I am sure you are well aware of the time constraints, I certainly appreciate any help you can provide.

Merci beacoup,

Jeannette

Bonjour Ray,

I adopted Amable Léger and Euphroisine Leblanc's profiles. They are my ancestors.

Hi Ray,

David LeBlanc is my 4th great grandfather. I've just joined the Acadians project, and I'll be adopting his profile, and working on his family. I've got good sources for everything except is death date. I see you listed it as 18 March 1873. Can you help me with a source for that?

Hi Ray:

Would it be possible to not show the name 'Mary' so prominently as the full name of my aunt Margaret (Maggie) Martin-Goodin - Martin-25118? Today I found on her page a 'source' from My Heritage with documents supposedly related to her. Nothing could be further from the truth! As the surname Martin is so common around the world, it is confusing to be sure.

My aunt was always known as Margaret (Maggie), and when I first entered her information into Ancestry and then uploaded my GEDcom here on WikiTree, her name at birth transferred to WikiTree.

Thanks,

Jeannette
