DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Ray by comparing test results with other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Ray:

Hi Ray. You don't know me but I been doing a family tree and your family member came up on my end as my second great aunt's husband. Her name was Rose Osithe Leger. I'm just trying to find lost family members. Thank you, Shannon.

Hi Ray, Would you mind making a slight change on your profile? Your profile is listed in the category: Acadie. This is a top-level category that should not have personal profiles listed in it. Yours is the last hold-out. A better option for any descendant of an Acadian is the Acadian sticker, which goes just below the biography header, and looks nice, too. Copy this but then double the brackets after you paste it on your profile: {Acadian Sticker}. It'll look like this image:
Acadian Flag
Ray Girouard is a descendant of an Acadian

If you want to include a location category, use one that is contemporaneous with the date of your birth or when you live/d there. Or you can add [Category: Acadians], again doubling the brackets.

Let me know if you have any questions, or need help making the edit. I'm the category liason for the Acadian project.

Thanks, Steff Mandarino

Hi Ray,

Not sure what I have done to earn a family star. I am still very much a learner on WikiTree, but thank you for it. Jean Brooks

Hi Ray,

I noticed that you are working to clean up some profiles. However, merging those profiles together is not the correct way to do it. See the Recycling WikiTree IDs FAQ for an explanation.

Please don't merge away anymore profiles.

Hi Ray

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Acadia Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Hello Ray,

On behalf of the Acadia Project Leaders, we are doing a six-month check-in with members. Please let us know if you are still active. Please let me know if you are still active, and if so, in which ways you have contributed to the project, or a sub-project, within the last two months.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.
