Pierre Mercure, son of the late François Mercure and Marie Perraut, married Thérèse Giroux, daughter of Ignace Giroux and Thérèse Savarie, on 5 March 1753 in Cap-Santé
Marie Giroux, widow of Pierre Mercure, died on 11 June 1815 and was buried on the 12th in Cap-Santé, the record giving her around 81 years of age.
