Maud was always the greedy one and was always moaning about how hard done she was done by. The Perrey family used to send parcels from Australia to family in England containing fruit cakes, fruit, tins of fruit, etc. It didn't cost much to send and during the Second World War, people in England did not eat well, but Maud didn't receive many parcels due to her moaning.
