John was born in 1854. He passed away in 1926. [1] He married Rebecca Howard on Apr. 1, 1877. They had 8 children: James married Vernon Dial, Harvey married Pearl House, Price married Josie Cannerday (not Kennedy), William married Mattie House, Lee married Hester Hanna, Sue married Charles Hinds, Ida married Dee Haygood (not Harwood), and Lillie married Houston Hanna
