1867 Presteigne, Herefordshire[1] George Shuter married Jane Gittoes by banns on Oct 31st 1867 in New Radnor Parish Church. They were both otp and full age. George was a widower and Jane a spinster. George was a shoemaker resident in New Radnor and his father was Job Shuter a Labourer. Jane had no rank or profession noted and her father was William Gittoes, a blacksmith Both George and Jane signed the register and Elizabeth Evans and William Shuter signed as witnesses.[2]
