Nicola C. Giusti was born on March 8, 1901 in Lettomanoppello, Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy to Camillo Giusti and Rosario Conte.[1][2][3][4]
He immigrated to the United States from Napoli on the S.S. Pesaro at the age of 19, and arrived in New York City on August 23, 1920. Buffalo, New York was his intended final destination.[4][5]
He married Irene Mancini on October 21, 1925 in Maine. They were both residing in Portland, Maine at the time of their marriage.[6]
In 1940, Nicola was living at 20 Newbury Street and was working for Fritz Construction Company at Forest Avenue in Portland. He could speak English and Italian, but could read and write English a "little". He had already made application for U.S. citizenship.[4]
Nicola passed away on January 24, 1990 in Portland, Maine.[2][7]
