Biography

Birth & Upbringing: Stephen was born in Nyasaland (now Malawi) during 1953 (which is the year in which the Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland was formed).
Family: He married Winnie, but the we no children of this union.
Education Stephen was educated in the Bindura area.
Vocation: He worked on farms in the Bindura District before securing employment with Trojan Tyres. H joined the BSA Police as an Auxilliary Constable in July 1978; Reg.No.200065; served until January 1979. Most of his service was in Ground Coverage operations.
Demise: KIA - contact and engagement with enemy while serving as a Auxiliary Constable with Auxiliary Reserve in Bindura District (Operation Hurricane).[1] [2].
Buried: Stephen was buried following a semi-military funeral at Bindura Cemetery, Salisbury on 6 January 1979 [3]
