Isabella Given was born about 1796, possibly in Summerhill, Donegal, Ireland.

Isabella and Hugh had nine children between 1815 and 1839; John, Fanny, Isabeela/Isobel, Jane, Richard, William, Sara, Hugh and Margaret.
